Membership
Membership of the NTSG offers an excellent chance to get the most of your training contract. As a member you will be entitled to:
Free or cut price entry to the many NTSG social events which are held
entrance to the prestigious Hammond Cup competition with the chance of winning the £250 prize;
the opportunity to take part in our numerous sporting events and competitions throughout the year;
Invitation to our annual ball;
Various discounts with local businesses on the production of your NottinghamshireTSG card
the opportunity to participate in our employment tribunal shadowing
scheme
invitations to careers advice and recruitment evenings which are held
inpartnership with recruitment consultants;
Support and assistance from your NTSG, we work alongside the National
Trainee Solicitors Group, which in turn works with the Law Society to promote
the interests of trainees, paralegals, newly qualified solicitors and students
involved in or interested in the legal profession;
the chance to stand for election to our committee.
Membership is £22 per year. Most law firms are willing to pay for
membership as happy trainees tend to remain in Nottinghamshire. Our subscription year
